Mahapurush yoga: Exalted Sun and Moon

The mystery of Jyotish to me, Sir, lies in the fact that rarely do

the classics explain the "whys". They just premptorily dictate the

results. The understanding of "whys" should then be the answer to

comprehending the real meaning of what the Classics suggest. Over

centuries, basic Jyotish concepts have withstood all tests and have

been explained by Shri Raman amongst others simply, most features

however, continue without clarifications.

For example, Akshaya teeja or tritiya is considered one of the most

auspicious days in a year, this perhaps, is normally the only day

wherein both Sun and the Moon are exalted. A marriage on akshaya

tritiya is supposed to be "akshaya" which does not decay, a birth

on this day should then be contrived for in todays designer age.

Why shouldnot an exalted Sun in lagna be as good as an exalted

Jupiter in Kendra needs to be answered but I dont have the answer!
