I agree that in that we must continue to learn and keep updated as much as we can. Experience is of no use if we do not learn, from our environment, from our sudents, from our teachers, from our 'gains and losses'. One must present one's credenetials if asked for, it may not seem appropriate but one can choose the right time and place to ask their Surgeon of Physician or Jyotish, as to where they have trained and about their experience in handling their particuar problem.

Certainly prevention is cure, if it can be practised, whether, mentally, physically or in a karmik way but one needs to guided towards it. Books are written by us, they can be re-written, one must stretch the boundries and think laterally, wherein may lie the path.

A Slice of my life -- I know some of you are listening and that

really matters to me and hopefully to you too?

 

Many years ago, I used to be a lot more enthusiastic about left-brain-

jyotish! I absolutely and for SURE believed that Jyotish is like

physics! You put a magnet under a sheet of paper and the iron

fillings have no other recourse but to line up! You mix an acid with

an alkali and there has got to be gas, if not an explosion! Whether

you add acid to water or water to acid had a predictable outcome and

with a difference! (someday, I must tell you about the blood group

data collection I thought was so natural with a bunch of medical

students through a medico friend I knew! Do you ever wonder why I

would rather rely a commercial database of birthdata and other

details, since then?)

 

But there comes a time when the controlled lab-simulations must end

and real life begin!

 

This transition hits most the applied scientists -- like engineers

and doctors! What they learned in their IIT and PGIMER or AIIMS or

MAYO or COLUMBIA or SANDISK or whatever!

 

Because books and courses get written by human beings and suffer from

their limited perspectives. Some more than others, naturally.

 

Real life on the other hand, is not even written in any details by --

its generally believed and taken for granted formless, OMNIwhatever

CREATOR -- GOD/DESS!

 

CREATION is an honest, equal and TRANSPARENT (How much more direct

can one get beyond the IMAGE in the iching, tarot or crystal ball or

dream/trance or horoscope?) partnership between THE so called CREATOR

AND ITS CREATED SUBJECTS AND OBJECTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES AND

ENVIRONMENT.

 

Learning from books and experiments, we the applied craftsmen,

doctors, engineers and jyotishis must then add to our repertoires

some practical experience -- with bridges and buildings some of which

fail; with patients some of which do not go the way the BOOK assured

us and nativities that defied even the SAGES and their PRINCIPLES and

made US look bad! (Talk about arrogance and EGO!).

 

Many of us students who have staked it long enough to get their

doctorates (in anything that requires at least 3 years or longer

after the prerequisites) may have heard something like this: Your

Experience and Learning really begins the day after you get your

LETTERS be those DDS, MD, DM, D.Engg, Ph.D., D.Phil., D.Sc. (or

equivalent).

 

The *All knowing* DOKTOR from any of these intensive tracks has one

enemy in his or her pocket. TIME!

 

YOU MUST FIND TIME to keep abreast and brush up regularly! Just as

plaque will get you sooner or later in your dentist's chair (any DDS

here?) on his or her terms (!), so will KARMIC PLAQUE!

 

Things being what they are, you may not even get to glance at or

question your KARMIC HEALER's degrees, affiliations or credibility!

 

Any of you been in the Emergency room with a heart attack or stroke

or twisted ovaries or whatever? Can you tell me if you had the sense

or awareness to check up and make sure that the surgeon you were

going to be operated upon had the right training and credentials?

 

It is the same with KARMIC EMERGENCIES!

 

As in health and 'construction', prevention is the key in Karmic

healing too --> Jyotish!
