Uncle, Nephew and Rahu

On 8/9 Nov 2006, Rahu moved from Meena to Kumba. This

is the way he affected both me and my nephew.

 

First, the birth details:

 

* Me: 14/March/1973; 02:14 PM; Bombay [18n58, 72e50]

Running Bu-Gu-Sk

 

* My Nephew: 25/August/2002; 08:01 AM; Bangalore

[12n59, 77e35] Running Sa-Sa-Ra

 

It is said that when gochara Rahu transits over any

graha, the significances of that graha tend to

fructify. In my case, Rahu was hovering over janma

Surya, while in my nephew's case, it was over janma

Chandra.

 

On the 8th night, I was desperately trying to get

inputs from some senior Government officials for an

article and failing miserably--note that Rahu was over

Surya, who rules those in power. Surya, as 3rd lord in

the 10th, also signifies written communications, and

because of this, I couldn't write my article. The 3rd

also represents speech as per Bhavat Bhavam (being 2nd

from the 2nd), and even spoken communications with

these Government officials was hindered because they

were always in meetings.

 

My nephew was hospitalized because of vomiting.

Chandra, as lord of the 11th, rules diseases because

it is the 6th from the 6th and the 6th rules the

digestive tract.

 

The Dasa-Antar-Pratyantar is also illuminating--in my

case, D-A-P nathas are in 2/12 positions.

 

In my nephew's case, Sani, the natural roga karaka

rules the 6th, while Rahu is in the 9th in the star of

11th lord Chandra. Sani and Rahu are in 2/12

positions. The 12th is important for confinement in

hospitals, and 6th lord Sani aspects the 12th in the

birth chart. Also, in the birth chart, 12th-lord Surya

is in Magha, and Sani was transiting this star in

gochara on that day.

 

In October, my nephew suffered pain in his

thighs--ruled by the 9th, which contains PD natha

Rahu. When I had studied his chart then, I said that

health problems will persist until Guru's PD, around

10 Nov (Looking back, I wish that I was wrong!). Of

course, Guru is afflicted by Kendradipati Dosha, but

he is uccha--and though he occupies 6th lord Sani's

Pushya and is posited in the 11th house of diseases, I

felt that in his PD, things will be much better--and

may God make my words come true!

 

Rotate the chart and the same still works--seen from

my 7th (younger sister = 3rd; 5th from thereof = 7th)

you find that PD natha Sukra rules the 6th.

 

>From his chart - the 11th from the 4th, namely the 2nd

as lagna, shows Rahu in the 8th house of agonies.

 

But, as they say, all's well that ends well. By the

grace of God, I got my inputs on the 9th, and my

nephew, who has been discharged from hospital on the

morning of the 10th, is playing joyfully once again!
