This is what I learnt (and still learning) in my 18 years of work experience. Feedback is a good mechanism to do a "gap analysis" and self appraisal. This will help us in enhancing our knowledge by bridging the gaps, if any. Last but not the least its a very good tool for "morale boosting". This is my humble opinion about Feedback.
