Guest guest
Wendy ji, This is regarding a query I had posted earlier for a gemstone for a friend. I'm sure you have the data, but I'm including it again, just in case: Miss J 1 Sep 1972 01:40 PM IST Calcutta 22n32, 88e22 Dhanur Lagna Earlier, I had asked for suggestions for a good gemstone, and you said Yellow Sapphire. Unfortunately, this stone is too expensive, so I thought of gifting coral. Since Lagna is Dhanur, Kuja is a benefic. He is placed in the 9th with 9th lord, but since he is just 2 degrees away from Surya, he is combust. Both Surya and Kuja occupy 6th-lord Sukra's star. However, I feel that coral will be beneficial because Kuja, his dispositor and his star lord are all subject to the benefic aspect of strongly placed Guru. According to http://www.jyotishvidya.com/gems.htm Kuja's stone, red coral, should be work on the ring finger and should be 6+ carats. My question is--can it also be worn as a necklace? Guest guest
Dear Balaji, As 12th lord, one should exercise a little caution. However 5th is his moolatrikona, and, as we know, this will stall the negative effects due to 12th lordship. As Mars is combust and can use a little strengthening, and the only planet he influences directly (by aspect or conjunction) is Sun (natural friends BTW), I would be inclined to say yes, go ahead. Certainly all gems can be worn as a necklace. However, for best results it should be worn on finger as prescribed and, once again, quality should not be sacrificed for size. Guest guest
Wendy ji, ///As Mars is combust and can use a little strengthening, and the only planet he influences directly (by aspect or conjunction) is Sun (natural friends BTW), I would be inclined to say yes, go ahead./// That's what I felt too! But, I decided to ask you because I was afraid that some of the negative Kuja energies--like anger--might get activated. ///Certainly all gems can be worn as a necklace. However, for best results it should be worn on finger as prescribed and, once again, quality should not be sacrificed for size./// I will remember this, Wendy ji. But, when one goes to a jeweller, one never knows what one will get. And since I don't know this topic very well, I like to understand all options before approaching the jeweller. Fortunately, since this jeweller is very trustworthy, one thing I don't have to worry about is getting a lemon! ~~~~~~~~~ Balaji Narasimhan Author & Editor http://www.balaji.ind.in/ ~~~~~~~~~ Sponsored Link $420k for $1,399/mo.
