Here are some more details. I request if possible please keep it confidential as there is a lot of personal stuff here that I hesitate to put out there. Thanks and my apologies if it is too long. Marriage in April 1950 Some miscarriages lot of grief in marriage Daughter born in Delhi Feb.2, 1959 is doing very well has earned good name Son Born in Elgin Illinois USA October 2,1965 With his coming into my life my mind became more and more directed towards spiritual life before it was more directed towards servie-my advanced education was in family and child welfare. Came to Chicago in September 1961 for higher studies at a prestigious university on a fellowship. Husband and daughter joined me in Chicago on Sept.14, 1962 I intended to return to India after my education but that did not happen. Marriage was very stressful and lot of abuse and betrayal. I helped my husband to come to USA and get his Doctorate etc. My plans were that after he completes his education and starts supporting family I will plunge myself in spiritual sadhana,did not have much worldly ambition. But after he became self sufficient he wanted a divorce and in 74 we got a divorce. So instead of plunging in sadhana I ended up very alone in a foreign country and culture with the responsibility of making a living, raising two children on my own and also taking care of my old and sick parents. Mother passed away in May 1980 and father in December 1982. In the meanwhile I also helped my two sisters and their families and brother to get settled in USA. Now in my old age I am almost on my own and Gregory looks after me or we look after each other. He came into contact with me in January 1993 through a meditation and Vedanta study group that I was conducting. On the mundane level inspite of my ability and education things are as if taken away from just when they are about to happen and there have been many financial and other challenges and heart breaks. But in the the spiritual sphere I had many wonderful blessings and privilege of holy association, pilgrimages and such things. I have always longed to return to India and live a sanyasmaya life with some scope for service but inspite of my many trips to India that has not been possible. Now age is a factor and living alone anywhere is not very practical. Name of the current place is Lubbock, Texas. I was in Californis- Sacramento for some years. In April,2004 sold the house in Sacramento with the intention of going and living in Bangalore. Just after I sold the house Bangalore group backed out and told me not to come. So selling the house was a big big mistake because I could not afford to buy a nother house at that time. I would like to get back to that area. Re Gregory : He was born in Lubbock. Had a rather unhappy childhood, parents divorced when he was a teenager. Has a son who was born on May 9,1987. Had a very stressful marriage and ended up in divorce and also bankruptcy etc. in 93 he became very interested in Vedanta and also got his mantra diksha. He is also very keen on relocating.
