Guest guest
I have been reading about spiritual names and am wondering how do you get one. I have known people over the message bases that have told me they have a new name but never elaborated about how they received it or why they received it. Blessings to all Stephen O. Guest guest
Satnaam Stephen Ji, Getting a spiritual name is easy. Just navigate to http://www.3ho.org/yb/spiritualname.html. Then download the form, fill it in form and send it to 3HO via email, fax or post. They shall get back to you within a few days with your spiritual name. Please leave a donation if you deem it appropriate. In case anyone was wondering, the spiritual name is derived from the Science of Numerology and intuition. The following is what I was told when I received my spiritual name "The Siri Singh Sahib set out a system of determining the spiritual name of a person based on the science of Naad Yoga from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the science of numerology, and frankly, a lot of his system is based on intuition.". People may decide to use their spiritual names in various ways. Some decide to change their name legally to their spiritual name (there are various websites which will legally change your name relatively cheaply). Others, like me, may just use it as an alias to their birth name. Wherever your soul feels comfortable, you should go for. I only got one because I thought it would be interesting to see what name I would be given, but I also felt a sense of rebirth and renewal, so it was an approriate time to start my Kundalini Yoga journey. I hope this helps. All Light to You. Satnaam. Hari Bhajan Singh (spiritual name) aka Jasdeep Singh (birth name).
