Dear Ramakanta Prabhu,

Ha! You are funny.

Why did you post this challenge:

> Why does Srila Prabhupada have to come back to this material universe, if

When it contradicts your own evidence which you were using to try to defeat

our position:

> "You have asked if it is true that the Spiritual Master remains in the

> material universe until all of His disciples are transferred to the

> Spiritual Sky. The answer is yes, this is the rule.”

(Letter to Jayapataka, 11 Jul, 1969)

We had already both agreed with Srila Prabhupada that ‘the Spiritual Master

remains in the material universe until all of His disciples are transferred

to the Spiritual Sky’. So why on earth do you then challenge a position we

both agreed with? Do you no longer agree with Srila Prabhupada and the IRM?

Please make this clear.

In all the instances you say you can ‘understand’, Srila Prabhupada would

not be physically present for the disciple, and not one of those scenarios

would adversely effect point c) since ‘physical presence is immaterial’.

You confuse the fact that the physical guru can be physically present

somewhere, but not necessarily in relation to the disciple, which is the

very thing all the quotes state is not important.

In the meantime point c) remains unchallenged by you, not to speak of

disproven.

Best wishes

Ys

Yadu

P.S. Another point I suspect you may be confused about. I have never said,

nor is it the IRMs' position, that all we need is Srila Prabhupada's books,

temples etc, and that Srila Prabhupada himself need no longer exist as a

spiritual master. Without the mercy of Srila Prabhupada, our spiritual

master, his books etc alone will certainly not be enough. He therefore

remains an acting spiritual master- (not a cowherd boy or such like in the

spiritual word) -giving his mercy by destroying our sinful reactions and

transmitting divya jnana, right up until he has finished delivering his

disciples.
