Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Ha! You are funny. This is an argumentum ad hominem. You cannot refute my argument just by saying that I am funny. > We had already both agreed with Srila Prabhupada that ‘the Spiritual > Master remains in the material universe until all of His disciples are > transferred to the Spiritual Sky’. So why on earth do you then challenge a > position we both agreed with? Do you no longer agree with Srila Prabhupada > and the IRM? Please make this clear. Please carefully read what I wrote. I challenged your claim that the books etc. are sufficient to guide all ISKCON members. Since you now have dropped this claim, the purpose of my question has been fulfilled. > You confuse the fact that the physical guru can be physically present > somewhere, but not necessarily in relation to the disciple, which is the > very thing all the quotes state is not important. What do you mean by "physically present in relation to the disciple"? When is the guru physically present in relation to the disciple, and when not? And please present one single statement by Srila Prabhupada saying that for the initiation the physical presence of the diksa guru is not required. > In the meantime point c) remains unchallenged by you, not to speak of > disproven. You have not understood my argument. If you had understood it and knew what we are talking about, then you would be able to answer following questions: What do you mean by "physical guru"? Do you mean "physically present in the same universe"? And what do you mean by "physically present for his disciples"? Do you mean "physically present in the same room"? Why did Srila Prabhupada go to New York and other cities, if his physical presence was not required there to initiate and deliver disciples? How can we go to a physical spiritual master, if we don't know where he is (when he is not physically present on this planet)? How can Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur deliver his disciples who took birth again on the earth, if he does not initiate them (as you claim)? ys Ramakanta dasa
