Guest guest
O Wisdom Goddess, may I cultivate this open field of awareness throughout my precious lifetime. O Mother of the Universe, shower your grace upon this black and fertile soil! Be pleased with my intent longing! Ma! Ma! Ma! Mundane consciousness is choked with weeds. How can I till the entire expanse of body and mind? If I can clear and cultivate even a small section, my jubilation knows no boundary. Thorny brambles of negative thoughts and actions continue to spring from the soil of the heart. O warrior Goddess with streaming black hair, one swing from your sword of wisdom will cut every egocentric root and clarify this heart forever. I will tame the primal obsessions, greed, anger, pride, hatred, and use them as powerful bullocks to plow the field of consciousness Sowing the seed of Om Kali Ma, tto me by a skillful farmer, I will reap a vast harvest of illumination for all living beings. This useless poet laments: "My commitment to tilling the groundof my being is neither consistent nor deep Yet how intensely I long, Oh Mother, to taste your most intimate presence, to merge my soul with the radiance of your dark blue wisdom feet!"
