Guest guest
svAmi Nam AzvAr anubhavam There are so many verses and thoughts very similar to that of Sri Nam-AzvAr, in Periya Thirumozhi. Certain rare words of NAm AzvAr are used by Tirumangai mannan also. The ThiruvAsiriyam pAsuram '..nAnmuga puthEAL nADu.." spells out the word 'puthEAL' referring to an exalted soul - a deity. Tirumangai Mannan also uses this word '...puthEALir AguvarEa' 6-8-10; The ThiruvAsiriyam again denounces celebrating other deities thus 'EnROAL irukka maNai nEr ATTi' and this is again seen in the 11-6 thirumozhi 'peTRa thAi irukka maNai ven nEr ATTudhirOA!" 11-6-6; ThirumAmgaL a favourite term of Kaliyan who spells this out to refer to pirATTi is indeed used by Nam-AzvAr sparingly 'ThirumAmagaL kEALvA' 6-10 of TiruvAimozhi; The charaNa mukundathvam-TirukkaNNa puram thiruvAimohzi sees NAm AzvAr confiendly declare that one will be elevated paramapdham if He so wishes after we the end of our life in this earth. 'maraNam AnAL vaikuntham kodukkum pirAn" 9-10; Similarly, Kaliyan not declares but proclaims (sATRinOAm) 'irandhAl thangum vUr aNDAmEa kaNdu koNmin-sATRinOam thadam pongathampongOA-10-2-10; this can go on endlessly dasan vanamamalai padmanbhan
