AdiyEn Raamanuja Dhaasan.

It’s a surprise to see that’s it’s a sacrilege to our community, no way.

AdiyEn is from Srirangam and a vEtraal sreepaadham thaangi. Having said that, adiyEn see it as a self inflicted blow by the “Dhravida Kazhagam” followers.In his living days, Periyaar was secretly worshipping Lord Vinayaga, in his courtyard, but spoke around it, when asked. His satirical repartee being “ Don’t confuse personal belief and party ideology”

During Panguni Uthiram festival, it’s a normal practice for “DK” activists to desecrete the walls of kovil “madhil” walls with indecent remarks on NamperumaaL’s Uraiyur sojourn. That all “paarpaans” go to Uraiyur with their Idol during night and return during night. Etc…

We used to ask the same guys who write those slogans in the wall, after Panguni thEr, who do sundry works for which they always say, “thalaivar kaatiya vazhiyil pogirom Sir” Katchi vEru, thani manidhan vEru” etc…. pure comedy….The same guys who write these come to earn their"mariyaadhai"during vEdupari during Raapaaththu uthsavam, in Vaikunda yEkaadhasi thiruaaL.

Its interesting to ponder over this fact.While NamperumaaL’s uraiyur Serthi with Kamalavalli Thaayaar is drawing more and more crowds, DK has become almost non existent.

Instead of looking at it the way Srimaan Thirumalai Vinjamoor Venkatesh sees it, kindly look at it this way.

NamperumaaL has this kattiyam,”Pagaivaraik kaakkum perumaaL” Vandhaarai vaazhavaikkum perumaaL”….. etc

Periyaar did not have the “budhdhi” during his lifetime to come and worship NamperumaaL. Now after his death, he will atleast see through his statue form, Lord NamperumaaL .every time NamperumaaL goes to Uraiyur or mElur.

So, adiyEn see this as a slap on the face of Periyar by his own followers. A Man who opposed Idol worship is made to have darshan of NamperumaaL,every time NamperumaaL goes to Uraiyur or mElur.

As a Sreepadham thaangi, I would cherish that moment.

Please allow periyaar to turn in his grave.(he was buried in a wooden casket, after his death in periyaar thidal in Chennai.)
