Guest guest
Dear Nanavatiji, All Planets signify certain houses, and become Natural Karakas for them. For example Jupiter 5th, Mars 3rd, Venus 7th etc. In the dictum "KARAKA BHAVA NASHAYA", the general principle involved here is that if a planet is placed in the house which it signifies, then it destroys the significations of that house. ie.Bhava Nasha by the Karaka sitting there. However there are only two exceptions to the above rule- 1) Saturn in the eight house, instead of destroying longevity, actually enhances it in certain cases. 2) Ketu as the Karaka/Significator of Moksha is actually helpful if placed in the twelfth house, But this of course is applicable only in the cases of highly evolved souls who have reached that stage. What is the logic for above, will have to be searched for in the texts. At the same time we should not apply the rule above, just immediately when we see the planet so placed in a Bhava. Cause many times Jupiter in 5th has been able to allow native to produce children too, therefore keeping the Karaka Bhava Nasha in mind, if we notice such a placement in any house, then we should check the aspects on the house and also the deposit of the lord of that house plus conjunctions if any and also the Natural Planet for that House as per the Kalapurush Kundli. Thus in anyones chart if I find Jupiter in the 5th house, I would straight away never say that he must not be having any child.I would check the aspects on Jupiter, the sign Lord where it is placed- condition, conjunctions if any, what aspects and from whom Jupiter is receiving by being seated in the 5th, Constellation in which Jupiter is placed. behaviour of Jupiter towards the sign Lord where its placed, Navamsha position too.The Natural House in the natural chart in the 5th would be leo, so I would check the position of Sun too which is actually the known and visible Creator and sustainer for us all ( Vishnu- Surya Narayan )If all suggest to Malefic pointers, then I can conclude that no child, otherwise we have to be cautious in our approach before bluttering out such statements to anyone. regards, Bhaskar. jyotish-vidya, VIJENDRA NANAVATI <nanavati_45 wrote: > > Dear Bhaskar,Wendy & all members, > > Parashar said that > > " KARKO BHAV NASHAY " > > could you please tell me logical explanation for this ??? > > what are necessary & sufficient conditions for applying this rule. > > NANAVATI > > > > VIJENDRA NANAVATI, DIRECTOR (POWER), NARMADA CONTROL AUTHORITY > MoWR,Govt.of India,E-4, NARMADA COLONY,Sch # 78 , INDORE > > 452 010 (M.P.), INDIA > > PHONE :2574019® > > 2553783,2575766,2552703 (O) > > 98272 24520 > > 9300837810 > > > > > > > > > Check out the all-new Mail beta - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster. > >
Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar, Thanx. When we talk about certain principle than we generally donot put so many conditions.. I think when we examine a chart putting all these condition than to predict FALIT this principle do not have any weightage without this principle putting all these condition we will come to same conclusion. I request u to kindly find out logical explanation in present context. regard. nanavati Bhaskar <bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: Dear Nanavatiji, All Planets signify certain houses, and become Natural Karakas for them. Guest guest
Dear Nanavati, To each his own. You may just use the principle and predict. No one can stop You. The conditions are mentioned by me and not any texts. They were just a help and as pointers to judge. It seems my efforts have gone down the drain. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar,Nanavati and All, //2) Ketu as the Karaka/Significator of Moksha is actually helpful if placed in the twelfth house,// To the best of my knowledge 'Karka Bhava Nashaya' refers to the natural karaka (only) of a particular house. As we know, Saturn is the natural karaka for 12th & 8th, Mars for 3rd & 6th, Jupiter for 2, 5, 11, 9 etc.. The nodes themselves are not significators for any specific house. //But this of course is applicable only in the cases of highly evolved souls who have reached that stage.// I cite two examples here, if I may: 1) A native with Ketu (alone) in 12th who has no interest whatsoever in moksha. In fact Ketu has severely restricted/harmed all the significations of this (12th) house. She has never gone beyond the shores of her own country, is not drawn to experience altered states of consciousness (through meditation or otherwise), she has lost both legs (double amputee) etc.. 2) U.G. Krishnamurti with Ketu in 12th conjunct 12th/5th lord Venus... http://www.well.com/~jct/ I can send the data if there's any interest in looking at either of these charts :-) Best Wishes, Mrs. Wendy http://JyotishVidya.com jyotish-vidya ___ - "Bhaskar" <bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in> <jyotish-vidya> Saturday, November 25, 2006 3:07 PM Re: " KARKO BHAV NASHAY " Dear Nanavatiji, All Planets signify certain houses, and become Natural Karakas for them.
