This information is for those PAMHO users who do not send their pamho.net

mail with WinCOM, MacCOM, or WebCOM.

Since spam is constantly increasing (currently about 200,000 spams every

day), I will make it more and more difficult for spammers to connect to the

PAMHO server. But this will also affect those who send their pamho.net mail

via mail.pamho.net port 25. You will probably get the reply "Server is too

busy". Therefore you should configure your email program so that it connects

to port 587 instead of port 25.

In Outlook Express this is done at "Tools" -> "Accounts" -> "Mail" ->

"Properties" -> "Advanced". At "Outgoing mail" enter 587 (instead of 25).

And at "Tools" -> "Accounts" -> "Mail" -> "Properties" -> "Servers" you must

switch on "My server requires authentication".
