Guest guest
Namaste Kali, I like this verse. There are 2 others from the Gita I use very frequently: Established in Being, Perform Action and, Be without the 3 Gunas, Oh Arjuna Each extols us to meditate, pray, perform puja, homa, seva,or other spiritual practices, in order to gain Self Realization, then, from the unassailable base, move into the world. Performing action, one will act in accord with all the laws of nature. Then, all one's actions will bring harmony and peace to the world and all beings. We have been speaking of dharma, the highest ideal of perfection, on our Saturday and Sunday discussion group on the Kaspapa Sutras. I define my dharma, my highest ideal of perfection, as being established in being, then performing action. This is truly the only way to bring true and lasting peace to this world. Each of us must find our own dharma, and act in this world to manifest it. How do we know our dharma? One way is thru the Grace of a Guru. We are so blessed to have Maa and Swami as our Gurus. Established in Being, Their actions radiate peace and harmony. As Pure examples, they not only teach us the techniques, but by their lives, define the Goal. In the Guru Gita, it states: one is blessed to have a Guru. With the Guru's help one can be transported over the ocean of objects and relationships, to life immortal. Without the Guru, it is very difficult. Cultivate a relationship with a Divine Guru. And if you do not have one, worship Lord Shiva, the Guru of all Gurus, and He will bring a living Guru to you. Then , wear a pathway to Their door, and offer your soul to Them. With Their power and Grace, liberation is achieved. The you will become a refuge to others. Truly, this life is a miracle. We are Blessed. Please visit www.shreemaaa.org to view the many classes, demonstrations of puja, songs, etc. which Maa and Swami have posted for our benefit. Make a commitment to yourself to read or chant or pray each day for some time, and increase it monthly, so you can reach your goal. Share with us all your love and discoveries as you walk the path of freedom. Jai Maa Jai Swami love vishweshwar. , "kaliananda_saraswati" <kaliananda_saraswati wrote: > > "The doer who is free from attachment, without ego, has consistent > enthusiasm, and remains unaffected in success or failure is called of > the quality of light." > > Bhagavad Gita > Swami Satyananda Saraswati > Devi Mandir >
