Dear Elders,

First ofall, plz forgive me if my statement is wrong.

Generally, there is a saying Brahmins are soft in nature,

and they dont have much Dareness.

One of our Bhagawatas, said we have to make rally.

Not only, Vaishnava whole of our Hindu Religion should joint

our hands together to protest against this issue.

Recently, in many Tamil flims Brahmin Community are being

Exploited and insulted. In a flim by name SRI the Hero will

remove the 'POONAL' and throw off at his father's face.

seeing, this none of us got furious and showed our anger

against Flim industry and to this society.

Instead, we ignored and kept silent. same this case,

E.V.R. Statue matter we have to ignore and be silent.

If one person is ready to tie the bell in the cat neck,

surely, i will come back of HIM/HER to protest against

this issue.

Once again, please forgive me if i have talked more.

regards,

Vijayalakshmi S.

Dear bHAgavathAs

So we all want some one to bear the brunt of taking

leadership and guide us. Every one of us will be in

the same state of mind hence no one would be the torch

bearer.

The solution for this problem of spiritual, the main

guidance can come from religious leaders such as

matathipathis. They all have to unite first and bring

a common ground for solving issues pertaining to our

religion. We all have to find our way to have numbers

behind us. We need to mobilize mass, otherwise nothing

gets done. For that we cannot have exclusive company

of one community.

adiyen's humble opinion is, after so many years DK

started worrying about EVR indicates, DK has to shore

up their support and show their presence for probably

gaining some favors from ruling party. If we do

protest etc, it will only strengthen them and which is

what they want. That is the main reason, it is better

to stop talking about. Instead we may want to say

openly, in Hinduism there is always room for opposite

views. And start publishing about what EVR actually

did including his opinion on Dalits (which were highly

disturbing) etc if possible.

One more point is when we talk of Srivaishnavas, they

are not restricted to just brahmins but who ever

workships Vishu. So we probably want to not project

some issues of a community. Having said this, in the

olden days brahmins were teaching art of military to

kSHatreyas. So it is not the question of brahmins are

soft but lack of inheriting those skills. Even as

recent as 400 years back, Maharashtra was ruled by

Peshwas who were brahmins. And for many battles, later

mohammadan rulers of Delhi wanted maratha's support

for their fights with patTans etc.

Having said all these, the main reason why brahmins

were respected in the past was due their their strict

observance of righteousness and adhearance to Dharma.

Whereas many brahmins have started drinking, eating

non-veg, lost touch with sandyavandan etc. So as soon

as we reached that state, we are no different from

others hence we are not able to defend even good

cause. Hence I repeat, our acHAryAs need to take more

active roles in influencing spirituality related

issues since they are our leaders. Also all our mutt

schools once again should start teaching the martial

arts along with normal studies. One has to know every

forms of arts, and should be used for good cause. I

think of one acHAryA doing that is H.H. Sri. Thridandi

Chinnajeeyar swamy. That is a must for the future to

protect our dHarmA.
