Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > Your quote does not match your claim. The quote does not say that ‘to go > to a physical spiritual master’ he must be present on the same planet. Don't base your philosophy on what Srila Prabhupada did not say. Just listen to him. No need to speculate. So please read the whole lecture (Bg 4.34, Aug 14, 1966). In that lecture he explained what he meant by "to go to a physical spiritual master". He said, "You must be able to inquire. Pariprasna". So how can I inquire from Srila Prabhupada, if he is not present on this planet? > It cannot be essential to ‘go to’ the physical body of the guru since many > of Srila Prabhupada’s initiated disciples never met him. This is a conclusion by an imperfect brain drawn from observations through imperfect senses. > Furthermore, Srila Prabhupada is a physical spiritual master since we both > agree he remains in this material universe until all his disciples are > delivered. Please back up this definition of "physical spiritual master" by a quote from Srila Prabhupada. "Therefore you must confirm by quotes every statement that you make. Otherwise it is rascaldom." (Yaduraja, Oct 16, 2006) > The following proves your understanding is wrong: Even if you post them again and again, none of these quotes say that for the initiation the physical presence of the diksa guru is not required. None of them contains the word 'diksa' or 'initiation'. All these statements are directed to his initiated disciples. You wrongly assume that they apply to everyone. Of course, the physical presence of the guru might be immaterial, but only after initiation. > You have not argued that Srila Prabhupada's use of the phrase 'physical > presence' is fuzzy, so just take it I accept his definition that you seem > very happy with. Your statement remains fuzzy because you did not write for what the physical presence is not required. Summary: You did not present one single statement by Srila Prabhupada saying that for the initiation the physical presence of the diksa guru is not required, as you claim. And you are unable to answer following questions: Why did Srila Prabhupada go to New York and other cities, if his physical presence was not required there to initiate and deliver disciples, as you claim? How can Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur deliver his disciples who took birth again on the earth, if he does not initiate them, as you claim? So who is defeated? ys Ramakanta dasa
