Thirumangai AzvAr used tamil as medium and platform in its full richenss to express his emotions.

 

Sri PeriyavAchAn piLLai explicitly mentions that this is his forte 'idhu ivar izhindha thuRai' refer thirnedunthANtakam vyAkyanam for 'senthiRatha thamozh Osai'

While describing the indifference of Lord, NElan mentions that the indifference is like the fruit found on the highway either can be

prefix of synonyms

 

In tamil parlance, when a word represents two meanings a proper prefix or suffix is added to point out the intended meaning

here is one

VEAngai represents tiger and also tree

when narrating a tree Azvar adds a suitable prefix to indicate this

certain words are used only in certain regions though in tamilnadu

these are known as disaich chol

for example ripe fruit is mentioned as thetta pazham

When vudayvar was going around this particular region, he found the people there exchanging words as

thetta pazham -ripe fruit 3-3

AzvAR uses this term
