Guest guest
namaste >From Shree Maa, The Life of a Saint When Maa was young She used to visit saints and ask them questions. She loved learming about dharma, the ideals of perfection. She asked about dharma and a sadhu responded: "The path of dharma requires the light of knowledge for its illumination. If the light is not visible, it becomes easy to stumble like the blind in darkness" What is liberation? "Where there is life there is death. Where there is welfare, there is misforture. If you try to grasp pleasure, pain will surely follow. Whoever can be detached from pleasure and pain, who can reside in the eternal wisdom of the soul, find the true bliss. This is called liberation." A woman saint told Her: "there are many gifts more valuable than money: a kind word and a friendly smile often are regarded as the greatest wealth." Another saint told Her: " Words inscribed in stone will never be erased, while what is written on water cannot remain for a moment. Do not allow anger or enmity to remain in your mind any longer than words written upon the water." Words to live by. So simple, so profound. I pray we can incorporate these into our lives.
