travelling to varanasi - remedies/ pujas to perform

Hi,

 

I will be travelling to varanasi next month from december 15 till jan.

It would be great if you could tell me what pujas i can perform and if

there are any remedies. My mom is dead and I am the only child, will

be able to perform any shraddha..what are the procedures? Please let

me know if there are any auspicious times when it can be performed. I

shall also be going during dhanur masa so if there is anything that

can be done please let me know.

In addition, i am unmarried, marriage has been delayed very long and

there are lots of blocks in life.
