Guruvani Posted December 1, 2006 Report Share Posted December 1, 2006 Something struck me a little emotionally tonight while I was studying the books of Srila Prabhupada. Then, it dawned on me that a love affair with the books of Srila Prabhupada is actually a love affair with Krishna. Somehow or other, we must have a love affair with the Holy Name, the writings of the acharyas and the shastra. Then, we are actually having a love affair with Krishna. I thought I would just share that idea. I am realizing that Krishna is attainable when ambition (lobha) gets so intense that it totally overtakes our hearts and minds. I am not there yet. I have a long way to go. But, I feel an inkling that someday I might just become an extremist for Nama Bhajan and love for the books of Srila Prabhupada. Krishna is attainable when ambition (lobha) gets so intense that it totally <B>eclipses</b> our hearts and minds; when we realize we can never know Him.
