There seem to be about a billion individuals accessing internet at this time. That is 1E09 Even if we add all the astrology fora memberships and weed out the ones that have duplicate and triplicate memberships we will probably come up with a number like: 1E04 and I am being generous, very generous! Because of these 10,000 afficianados, we know that perhaps only 200 are interested overall, even in reading and responding to messages and perhaps about 50 making some sense, oh okay maybe 100! World's population is oh say 7 billion (7E09) Of these 1/7th (13% or so) have access to internet (1E09) Of those with internet access about 0.001% (someone check my math please!) are interested in astrology, not counting the multiple enrollments! And ONLY about 0.00001% are actively interested in astrology, even though half of those may be just occasional visitors just interested in giving a 'lip' to the serious posters and then throwing a tantrum and making a fuss and drama to quit and making work for the group owners! Such troublemakers would represent about 3 out of those 100 in this sample -- or about 0.000003% of all those individuals who have access to internet. I think we can safely ignore them for they have no voice, or anything to offer as has been demonstrated many times ;-) But dear otherwise serious jyotish afficianados -- do you now realize what a fragile and frail minority WE are! That tiny island I keep talking about is REAL and WE/YOU are a threatened species. WAKE UP and count your pennies, and marbles too!! Because Astrology is absurd. Its something which we dont need. Its better for a common human being not to know it. Let me explain in simple way, ASSUME THAT ALL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD KNOW ASTROLOGY. A person's life is already determined from his natal chart. Anyone in this world has to live his life according to natal chart. If someone tries to do something (by 3,6, 10 and 11th house) then how he can do it ? Lets think that in a person's horoscope it is destined that he will not be a Prime Minister now this person works very Hard for being a PM. Lets assume for a second that he becomes a PM. By this way he proved wrong his natal horoscope which is impossible. Horoscopes are always right. Now look and Gandhi and Nehru and other freedom fighter. Did they do anything for India ? Did they ? It was already predestine. Now go further back, British looted India for 200 years. Did they do anything wrong ? It was supposed to happen and it happened. Tendulkar and his crew makes centuries and stupid indians feel happy. Do they need to feel happy ? Does it really matters if India wins over Pakistan or Australia ? Dont forget here, we are assuming that all people in this world know astrology. Osho, Vivekanand, Pramhansa, Nanak, Kabir and many such so called enlightened soul came in this world. And their praise is useless because it was supposed to happen. People will stop feeling joy and pain because things are suppose to happen that way. Eventually it will lead to a suicidal society. People will try to escape from their horoscopes by committing suicide or by praising GOD (to get moksha). BUT HERE IS A TRAP ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WILL COMMIT SUICIDE WHOSE HOROSCOPES SHOW IT. Lets assume that they attain moksha. BUT ONLY THOSE PEOPLE WILL GET MOKSHA WHOSE HOROSCOPES SHOW IT. Its disgusting. Its worse than slavery. Its horrifying. So its better to be ignorant.
