Just like if you are having on your either sides Osama Bin laden and his chief commander you will feel scared. Natural Malefics will not loose their properties which are basic to them. And so would the others whether benefic or malefic. Like Cancer Lagna people however good influence they may have on the Lagna, but the basic property of getting emotional and when depressed sulking in a corner and when angry coming out with a sting (Crab or Scorpion )on the opponent would not be lost.Same with the Scorpions. (No offence meant to either the Cancerians or the Scorpions, just general statements).Neither will the Leo loose his laziness and come out of his cave only when the push to acquire make him do so. The results of all the 9 planets have to be mixed because of the law of Duality working in the whole universe. Just like the 6th 8th and 12th have their good points too.
