My father gets mad over little things and stays mad for long time. What is the reason? Can you please suggest some remedy to save this marriage? Dear Nutan, Namaskar When the upapada falls in Libra or Pisces, there is a risk of fighting and anger ruining the marriage, as Mars lords the second house from the upapada. Especially for Libra Upapada, Ketu also lords the second and adds to the 'headless' behavior of the relationship. Further, when Venus is afflicted, the emotions of those malefics will enter the marriage. Here Venus is afflicted by Mars (anger) and Saturn (sorrow), and thus also forming a curse which will arise in the first marriage (joined upapada).
