Guest guest Posted December 11, 2006 Report Share Posted December 11, 2006 I've seen Mercury many times, but it is very difficult to locate unless it is at greatest elongation and next to another brighter planet. Since this conjunction is only 14 degrees from the sun, I think it will probably be too washed out by the rising sun to be seen in most locations.
