Dear Family,

Namaste!

http://www.shreemaa.org/drupal-4.7.3/node/723

has the transcripts for this weekend's sessions on The Kashyapa Sutras

(10 and 11)

Sutra 10 says Victory destroys Pain (The pain of of the feeling that

we are separate, the pain of desire)

Sutra 11 says the perfection of breath gives one an abundance of peace.

Please share your insights and wisdom on these. We look forward to

hearing from you!

One of the outcomes of our chat sessions is that all of us will be

doing japa with pranayam for 10 minutes everyday this week.

Would you like to join in this sankalpa? Please email me at

srini_sadhu

or post on the club that you will be joining in this sankalpa.

Sincerely

srini

Dear Srini,

Thanks so much for clarifying the correct way to perform pranayam. I

was inhaling with mantra and then trying to get verses in while

retaining and exhaling the breath. Through the class notes of 10

Dec. I now understand that one inhales with the mantra (e.g Om Namah

Shivaya) retains the breath for 4 repetitions of Om Namah Shivayah;

and then on exhalation repeat the verse(s) of the scripture.

This is very helpful. Thank you.
