Why post? What is Maa and Swami's Desire?

Namaste Debi and Chris

I have read your posts and reflected on your feelings about the chat

and posting, and with respect and love, wish to add my thoughts.

The question in my mind is this: why post, why chat, why get involved

in the classes or live-on line chanting, etc?

I will answer that question from my perspective.

The simple answer: Maa and Swami asked us to do it.

There is one basic principle uniting Srini, Ramya, Nanda, and I. As

part of the close Devi Mandir family, {those who see each other weekly

at the Mandir, and chant the Chandi together, and sing and dance in

the Temple}, we have all been asked by Maa and Swami to do everything

we can to inspire and help other seekers connect to the knowledge and

wisdom they wish to give.

The others all fulfilled Maa's desire quickly, and posted and made

connections, while I sat and considered, and thought it would not

work, not reach folks, or help them.

While I sat and thought about it, they acted, and some folks became

really inspired, and thru their participation and the connection they

established, they came to the Mandir for a weekend retreat. I had the

priveledge and honor to help Srini and Ramya and Nanda work with our

guests.

I was so completely blown away by these folks. Some had never met Maa,

others had met Maa once, most had never been to the Mandir, and knew

only a little bit about their teachings. Yet, they asked to come, and

Maa said yes.

For a weekend, they experienced the daily life of the Ashram, and the

full power of the Temple, then, they met Maa and Swami, and received a

personal blessing, and they all overflowed and cried with the fullness

of bliss in their hearts.

Maa and Swami live the life of reclusive sadhus, meditating, praying,

chanting, singing and dancing, and now, are in the mid point of the 3

year Chandi homa for peace. An extremely demanding sadhana.

Few outside folks ever come to the Mandir. The gate is kept locked.

Few are invited to come. Only sincere seekers are allowed to visit.

Only those fortunate souls who have demonstrated their commitment to

wish to learn and practice the techniques they practice.

After witnessing the powerful experiences our guests had, I felt

compelled to act. I wanted to do everything in my power to help

Srini, Ramya, Nanda, and the other family members in this outreach.

So I dove in. Now, I can be wordy, and write long posts, and take too

many words to say what I wish to say, but, the bottom line is this:

Maa and Swami are the real deal. They have something so rare, and so

valuable that it defies description. Yet I keep trying to put it into

words.

I want all the folks who read these posts to understand and feel Maa

and Swami's love and receive their blessings. I want to see each and

every one of you shed tears of joy and bliss, when you meet

Them face to face. If one of you becomes inspired enough to perform

the sadhana and read the scriptures, and eventually come to the

Mandir, then all these words are worth the effort.

It is my pleasure to be able to make these comments for Maa and Swami.

I wish all who read them would post their own reflections on their

relationship with Them.

Many read but do not post. Now is the time to share your feelings to

help others.

We are all in this together. One of the Kasyapa sutras, #11, which we

studied this weekend, so clearly stated the goal Maa and Swami wish us

to reach: to become the source of peace, the distributing system of

peace, the well of peace, the ocean of peace. To become filled with

an abundance of peace.

This is what the world needs now. This minute.

So let us join together to help fulfill Their goals for this world.

This is the reason we incarnated this time. This is why we have been

drawn to Maa and Swami.

Jai Maa Jai Swami

love vishweshwar

Dear all,

I would just like to express my gratitude to Shree Maa and Swamiji who

do everything possible to draw seekers (some of whom have been on the

road for a long time looking for shelter) into their blessed family.

They even send out helpers to point the way. These helpers are like

lanterns, who, even though they come in different shapes and forms,

are shining with a light that is instantly recognizable to pilgrims as

the Light we all carry and protect in our hearts.

Speaking for myself, I can honestly say that I don't know if I ever

would have found the way without them. Even though the Light of the

Devi Mandir can be seen from a great distance, it is easy to get lost

or sidetracked. Yet no matter how far I got off track, always one of

those lanterns was there to show me the way back.

The seva done by these helpers is so very important; it helps to hear

about life in the Devi Mandir, to be invited to take part in group

sankalpa's, to learn from the experience of others, to learn more

about the example Shree Maa and Swamiji give us. It helps to proceed

by the light of these lanterns and to find that I am indeed getting

closer and closer to that big Light I saw from a distance but did not

dare set out for.

Apart from the discussions in this group, it also helps me to be able

to connect live to people far away in the body, but so very close in

spirit. For me, the on-line classes are about reaching out to each

other and togetherness as much as about learning and discussion, maybe

even more so. It is the fact that people from different parts of the

world have made the effort to come together in order to share their

love and devotion that is most important to me. In the world such as

it is today, that seems to me not a small thing. Where two are

gathered together....

I bow again and again to Shree Maa and Swamiji, those Lights of the

World, and to their helpers, lanterns showing the way, who give me the

courage to continue my journey,

with love,

Henny

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you Vish and Henny for your very beautiful posts.

Ever since meeting Maa and Swamiji, I have been wondering why, why am

I in this region so far away from the family with not one single

person with whom to share sadhana. I wish I could drive to a friend

or a temple some evenings or at least on Sundays to have satsangha

but there is no one. These online classes are a blessing and I am

eternally thankful to Gurujis for their love in sending their

messengers to guide and inspire along the path.

Maa and Swamiji lead by example, their every thought and action is

for the upliftment of ALL of their children, some of us obey their

directives immediately while others take time like in Vish's case,

assisting with the retreat guest helped opened his consciousness

which is apparent from the contents of his posts.

Yesterday for some reason I felt the need for quietude. I did my

chores while listening to Maa's CD's and glancing at one of Her

videos (Interview with a saint??) by evening when I sat for sadhana I

felt so peaceful, all I could do was sit with Maa's photo with tears

streaming and streaming down my face. Maa and Swamiji give us so,

so very much I really wish I would be physically nearer to them or at

least be with them on a regular basis.

I do not have a lot of knowledge in fact I have no knowledge or

understanding of the scriptures but i have much love and respect for

these two beautiful beings – Shree Maa and Swamiji has asked that we

help others by sharing what we have. For me, my sharing at this time

is joining in satsangha and posting a verse with the pray that

through increased devotion my understanding will grow that more can

be shared.

May we all be filled with pure love and pure devotion.

Hi Vish,

Thanks for your post in reply to mine & Chris' email posts.

Please don't be offended by what we said, I love chatting even though I'm not real good at it. I try to heard to be a people pleaser & not to rock the boat & try to fix things more times than not. So I don't talk a lot. It's my way of controling myself, of not making a fool of myself or showing people just how stupid I can be.

I have a lot of self estem problems (and spelling problems) so I try to keep a low profile. BUT when I get into a discussion like we have here on important things I RUN OFF AT THE MOUTH.

I get excited because people are far & few around here to talk to about these things.

I have learned so much from here thanks to Shrini, Nandi & everyone including you.

I try not to fix everyone like I use to & after reading what Maa said about people that do that.

I recite Bija Mantras when neg things come into my life.

I do my Shiva Puja & now Lalita Trishati & recite Sadhana Panchakam & Study all day it seems, stopping only to feed and water animals on farm and families needs.

Check my emails each day cause I learn so much here & it was one of my lesson goals & have exhibited wonderful fruits.

I'd like to go on the retreat & was looking forward to it. I have really injoyed the classes but my computer dail up is a mess. I only get pieces and so to chat is difficult because of lack of information heard.

I think slowly and by the time I get a responce ready to enter another conversation is going & they have to tell me constantly where we are and what they're talking about so it's obvious I'm not able to keep up or can't comprehend in the same manner. If I talk about this (problems I'm having) then I am focusing on the neg. Wld rather use my energy at 52 on studing or asking pertanant questions so as to get the help I need to do better. so enough abt me. ( just trying to let you know where I'm coming from)

Like I said I love it here & will chat more when can afford a better system. As it is can't get the past posted lessons to even download or play. Gets frustrating. And there's no need for frustration. I can read the books & writen lessons & God will direct me just as He has since I was a child. Kali brought me here & will continue to direct me dispite the computers slowness. It does the best it can too. Hey I got the writen info & it's feed me so far.

You are such a blessing to have in group like Chris you always have positive advice to help.

I love that everyone posts w/ quote's from books and Shree Maa & Swami Ji & hopefully one day when I get somemore time under my belt I will be better in chats but for now all I have to draw on are my own esperiences and the books read before joining in here & the ones we are doing now in class'.

Thanks again for your help. Keep it up. You're great. Maa doesn't have to be definded She stands on Her own. Shes is the best in all of us as is Swami Ji. I love them bother very dearly even thouth I have never meet them. Each day I pray to be able to see them, & hug them & shower them with presents of love. Look forward to every day here with this family & maybe one day I will be part of it. That is my goal.

Jai Maa

Peace & LOVE to all

Thanks to all of you for all you are doing here for so many.

NAMASTE HENNY

Thanks for those wonderful words. They are so true. We all need to be

reminded how lucky and blessed we are. I too know they saved my life,

and that of my entire family.

The weekend discussion groups are especially powerful for me. How can

such love and caring be sent across the air waves? What a miracle.

Shree Maa says: "we are all one soul". We just have to remember that

always, and live that truth, and soon we will realize it

Jai Maa Jai Swami

Namaste Sister Kali:

You are not far at all. You are right here, in all of our hearts.

Right this second, you are in the Temple of the Divine Mother, in Her

Heart. Where else could you be?

WE all share that sacred space everytime we think of Her with Love.

Time and space disappear, and Her Heart, which is every throbbing atom

of creation, beats the same in you and me. There is no difference

between us all. We are all one.

I love you.

Namaste Debi

I posted that message because I love you and I love Chris. You are

love. You have brought such a huge amount of love to this group. We

are all blessed to have you with us. Thank you so much for posting

and asking great questions. Every post demonstrates your love and

devotion and your yearning for Maa.

So in return, Maa gives you, and each of us, exactly what we need.

As a Mother knows her child, and cooks a special dish for each one,

Maa gives each of us, Her children, exactly what is best.

This is a sacred space, a space to be free and honest with each other.

We all grow by helping each other. Thanks for helping us. Thanks for

helping me.

Have to go now, it is late.

Jai Maa Jai Swami

Dear Debi,

I loved your post! Actually i always enjoy reading what you have to

say. Unfortunately i can't always answer. I think it's just awesome

that you do Siva puja and Lalita and the Sadhana Panchakam (i used to

recite that last one, too, every day for a long time and i find that

it was always right on the money for me!) It's a challenge to keep

focused, to stay in the world, to overcome the slow connection/bad

connection frustration (me, too!) but as you yourself have said, when

we keep on going, it's really gratifying. Keep up the good work! You

are an example to me and many others.
