Guest guest
Namaste Swamiji, I have been taught two types of breathing in the past: in short, one is allowing the belly to expand and become round during inhalation, another is to keep the belly flat and breathe up along the spine (so to speak), allowing the chest and upper back to become wide. I have tried both while practising japa with pranayama, and noticed a difference in feeling, especially during kumbhaka (one heavy, one light). Because I don't know the correct way of breathing for japa with pranayama, I tend to alternate the two with a mess as result. Would you please teach me how to breathe correctly? thank you for your time and consideration, with love, Henny
