Guest guest
*What is Divya Darshanam?* *It is a spiritual exhibition.* It seeks to illustrate, in the form of *models*, *multimedia presentations*, and *live performances*, the various aspects of *Srivaishnava Sampradayam*. This spiritual exhibition has been organized into different branches, each one presenting to its audience a comprehensive view of its respective subject matter. The groups are as follows: 1. *Vedas*: Here we seek to bring out the essence of the Vedas through a presentation of the following topics - - A crisp introduction to the Vedas and their importance - Narayana Paratvam - Srishti, its various forms and their explanations - Visishtadvaitha The object is to get the audience acquainted these concepts of the Vedas, so that their *relevance* and *indefatigable knowledge* is made clear. 2. *Puranas*: Of the eighteen Puranas, we have picked the two most relevant ones to *Srivaishnava Sampradayam*: - *Vishnu Purana* - *Kaisika Purana* You will be surprised to know that several predictions made by the Vishnu Purana for the Kali Yuga have come true, to the letter. Some of these predictions are numbingly accurate, and shall be revealed at the exhibition. 3. *Itihasas*: We present the two Itihasas (Histories)of India, the *Ramayana *and the *Mahabharatha *, in a fascinating new perspective, which increases their beauty tenfold: - We present the Ramayana as a *'Saranagathi Grantha'*. It's hidden focus on the concept of 'Saranagathi' is brought out in a simple and effective manner. - We focus on the Lord's '*Kalyana Gunas'* or 'Divine Attributes', which dazzle in all their brightness in the Mahabharatha. 4. *Azhwars*: In the guise of little children, the Azhwars stand before you and speak their divine words. Listen, and stare in awe, as these little children transform into the Azhwars, with a likeness that goes beyond the five senses. 5. *Acharyas*: A Garland will greet the audience at the 'Acharyas' section. Not an ordinary one, but the most beautiful garland of our Guru Parampara, beginning and concluding with the Lord Ranganathar Himself. 6. *108 Divyadesams*: A miniature model of one Divyadesam from each zone will be on display, and details on each divyadesam will be presented in the form of succinct, illustrated charts. 7. *Science and Religion*: We seek to bring out the symbiosis between Science and Religion. Only now has science begun to explore the realms of metaphysics, while our age-old Sampradayam has dealt with the metaphysical in a manner so satisfactory as may be beyond your belief. We appeal to you, come and see for yourself! Bring your friends and relatives. Spare some time to find answers to the questions you asked, and the ones you didn't.... IT'S ALL HAPPENING AT DIVYA DARSHANAM!!! Please grace us with your presence. -- ever-in-divine-service, KAINKARYA SREE Srimaan Trust (Srimaan Bhattar Kuzham) http://parasarabhattar8220.fotoblog.co.uk/ Postal address: 231 South Uttara St, Srirangam, Trichy-6 Ph 0431-2431109 Email: India - srimaantrust USA - srimaantrustusa
