Guest guest
I humbly ask Sada Shiva to liberate me from the leelas of that terrible Devata. Actually the vedic and vedantic understanding of Bhagawan Vishnu is something that I am fine with. The Vasanjeya Samhita has the understanding that he is the very skin of Aditi, meaning the most supra-facial aspect of bhagawati is considered Vishnu. Also, taittiriya considers Durga to be Vishnu. So I cannot completely write him off. However it is the itihasa that gets to me, when I read ramayana and bhagawata purana it sorta really made me feel uncomfortable. My point is simple, Narayana resides in all of us, therefore the concept of avataran becomes irrelevant for Narayana, as he takes avatar everytime a new life occurs in this world. Once again this is my opinion, it is my belief and if anyone is offended they can just ignore. All I am saying is that I fear Vishnu, so much that his name makes me shudder. I know dozens of people who hold this same view, I was actually inspired by a friend of mine who used to be a visitant to this group. The fact is madhu and kaithaba took birth from him, so he probably does have a very evil aspect lol! Guest guest
Dear Kartik, Actually, I am very sad to read your email. Shri Vishnu Narayanam is such a compasionate and at the same time powerful God and we should respect Him. It is the deomons who are afraid of His Name. The Shivaism shastras say Shiva is the greatest God, while Vaishnava shastras claim Vishnu to be so and Sakstism shastras say that Shakti is the Ultimate. In my opinnioon, they are not contradictory but they try to explain that all Gods are equal and are just different aspects of the One Ultimate Divine Being. About the Avatars concept, it is true that everything is part of God . So, we could say every time something is born, it is an incarnation, Even demons are part of the Ultimate Divine, as Divine is ecopasses everything and is even beyond. But, the Avatars of Narayanam are manifestations of His Divine Powers and Nature .Not all things manifest the same qualities of God. Humans express some of His qualities, plants express some others, Gods express others. Still, they are all part and incarnations of God.I hope you understand. Also, in ancient shastras, it is not only Vishnu who is connected with the creation of asuras.Others devas are associated with this ,too.Madhu and Kaitabha were born when Lord Narayanam touched the dirt of His Ears and pulled it out as His touch is Life Giving. But, He slayed many many demons in the Form of His Avatars (Ravana, Putana and many others) so you cannot say there is evil in Him! If you have any questions and something is not clear enoguht, please kindly ask Regards, Dionisis Jai Shri Mataji! - kartik gaurav Friday, December 15, 2006 5:31 AM Re: To Kartik Gaurav I humbly ask Sada Shiva to liberate me from the leelas of that terrible Devata. Guest guest
Being afraid of Vishnu, one will sure to be afraid of everything. Since Vishnu is omnipresent awareness. One cannot be a Shakta and hate Vishnu. the whole notion, while honest on your part, is nonetheless ludicrous. Sounds like a spiritual Oedipus complex. One should make their peace with all deities since they have such long lives they will more likely be around here longer than you, therefore they care a bit more about all of the outcomes. Don't like Itihasa don't read it. Vishnu is at once also Mahakali. There is no difference, and in their vidya, each is the supreme timeless awareness itself. For this reason you should realize that all these names are labels, and that the universal deities are always everywhere. Because they are at the Planck scale of smallest time and space. Why not just give a flower to Vishnu and get over these causeless fears? - "Dennis" <mprgrandmaster (AT) hotmail (DOT) com> <> Friday, December 15, 2006 7:13 PM Re: To Kartik Gaurav > Dear Kartik, > Actually, I am very sad to read your email. Guest guest
Hey Kartik, Its very interesting that you mentioned that you are scared of Vishnu. Mostly folks are scared of my Bhola, as he is one, whom, whosoever has pissed, not lived to tell, even if its kaamdev.. lol. He is the one who is Aghora, something that sends a shiver across peoples spine. He is BhootNatha.. I mean I can go on and on why people who dont understand him, fear him. (What we dont understand we fear --- Batman Begins.. ) Anyway, while what you think is your business, I would for sure like to point out the incident, where Sati ji wanted to take the examination of Lord Ram, and took the form of Sita. We all know what happened on her return. Lord Shiva, never after that point in time, till she was in Sati form, took her as his wife, but instead treated her as her mother. The gravity of the situation here is mind boggling. Just because Sati Ji took Sita ji's form, who (Sita ji) to Lord Shiva is Mother, he renounced his wife. His Wife, without whom he says himself that he is a "Shava" (corpse). The day I pondered on this, I realised they all are One. No Further Arguments my lord. Har Har Mahadev.
