Guest guest
Dear JR: Thanks for your question; I also received a couple of queries off board. The first (yours) and second were answered by Guruji's successor as head of Devipuram, Sri Karunamaya Baba; the third by a Devipuram staffer: 1. I thank you most profusely for the kind invitation to the Maha Kumbhabhishekam which in deed is a rare occasion. Do you all have mandala abhishekam too following the kumbhabhishekam? ANSWER: We will have it. 2. There have been a couple of tragedies in the past couple weeks in my extended family. Hence, not sure if I am allowed to contribute to events like kumbabishekam etc. I know my family is not allowed to perform abhishekam to any deities for the next year. Can you advise me? ANSWER: In reality it is a good time to sponsor for occassions like this in the situations explained by you as a respect to departed soul. 3. On the website, I do not see any paypal info. I have previously sent money to Seva (AT) vi1 (DOT) org. Can I use the same paypal id for sending money for the Kumbhabhishekam? ANSWER: Unfortunately, we currently do not have the vi1.org online payment system enabled. www.devipuram.com is going to have online payment implemented in phase two, which is at least two months from now. Hence, for now we'll request devotees to send their donations by cheques taken in favour of SRIVIDYA TRUST to the address mentioned in the website (and Kumbhabhishekam announcement letter). Hope that helps! DB
