Guest guest
I will give you the little bit of information I have. She is a preacher of Sahaja Yoga which is supposed to be a simpler process for awakening kundalini. I was in a sahaja yoga group for about 6 months a long time back. The group practises some movements to awaken the chakras. Nirmala devi is the wife of a very senior officer in Indian diplomatic service who was in London and settled there .I think what she basically says is that every one can feel the pleasure of awakening of kundalini and also feel better, improve their health etc through these simpler methods which she has developed after extensive study and research of various yoga Sastras Reincarnation? very difficult to answer in a country so ready to believe in reincarnations. Every week on TV( mainly regional channels) I find at least one person in some village or other claiming to be a reincarnation . Nirmala devi however has a very Strong and commotted following mainly in north . nt <paribus81 > wrote: Om Shri Matre Namaha Namaste to all you my loving people There has been a question which is throbbing in my mind... Guest guest
Dear Parishant and all, If I am right, you are referring to Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. A little words about Her: She ,being awarded with scientific and other awards and having been a Peace Nobel Prize Nominee, is a spiritual teacher Who preaches that the essence of all the great religions, such as Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, are flowers of the same tree . She claims that She has the power of granting en masse awaking of Kundalini and teaches methods to sustain and establish this awakening. As far as I am aware, researches is being done and scientific findings support this theory. www.sahajayoga.org at health benefits Now, about whether She is the Incarnation of the Devi. Shri Mataji says we should not believe whatever we are told about spirituality but we should verify it on our experience and then accept it as a fact and not as a blind faith. Yes,Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi is the Incarnation of the Goddess and this is not my belief but my knowledge. If you wish, we may conti nue this discussion privately. Even for Sri Ramakrishna, to whom all women were manifestations of the Divine Mother. Thus Shakti Puja like the Kumari is considered one of the most powerful form of puja. It is when you are worshipping the Devi in flesh and blood. An extraction from our previous discussion abt Kumari The kumari pooja is not the only pooja as prescribed in the Shakta Tradition. When the first time I encounter the Kumari Pooja, during Navarathri. As parent, we felt blessed when the main priest approached us to get the permission, for our daughter to be the kumari during the one of the navarathri. In Nageshwari temple here in KL, kumari pooja, sumangali and suvasini pooja perform practically every night [for 9 nights] during navarathri. That particular night [when my daughter became the kumari] when it was my turn to seek blessing, I stood there not sure what to do. I'm being told "you do not prostrate before anybody but your Guru and Devi". I just bowed my head slightly as my `daughter' blessed and places the kumkum etc over my head. Later my guru told me "you should prostrate before HER, because at that particular moment, that young girl is not your daughter, but a KUMARI, The Devi herself manifested." Guest guest
Jai Shri Mataji! What you say maybe true in some sense but I do not think it is so generally. I mean, how can it be every young girl to be equal with Durga , Parvati, Saraswati or Laksmi? Can they cure diseases? Can they give en masse Kundalini Awakening? Can they teach Shri Nirmala Vidya?Young girl maybe a manifestation of Shri Maha Devi but they are not Maha Devi Herself in complete form and with complete Powers. To US [ read to word US], all woman are manifestation of DEVI herself. Maybe its that you never understood this statement at all. Read the tantric text and you will understand what im talking abt.
