Guest guest
Dear Madam Abirami It is Vaaraahi and not Varaghi; Pl get initiated into Vaaraahi by a competent Guru; Vaaraahi, to my limited knowledge, is very serious business, you certainly can recite stotras, shlokas, pasurams if they are available on Vaaraahi, but not moola mantra. I am no one to advise you. Even so, here it is. Guest guest
JR expressed my first thoughts about Vaaraahi or Varaahi moola mantra w/o initiation, very well. Here is some more info on why JR said it is serious business http://shaktisadhana.50megs.com/Newhomepage/shakti/varahi.html Caution is advised not because worshipping HER is a no-no, but because of HER arrival will be preceeded by bringing all bad karma to zero in super swift fashion - a lot quicker than other shanta swaroopams/amsams of Devi. Sometimes even consuming the...... Proper guidance is required...in the form of an able Guru. , Radhakrishnan J <jayaarshree wrote: > > Dear Madam Abirami > It is Vaaraahi and not Varaghi; Pl get initiated into > Vaaraahi by a competent Guru; Vaaraahi, to my limited > knowledge, is very serious business, you certainly can > recite stotras, shlokas, pasurams if they are > available on Vaaraahi, but not moola mantra. > > I am no one to advise you. Guest guest
There are many different understandings of Varahi. She is one of the devatas of the Shri Chakra and forms the male principle. But she also exists outside of Shri Vidya tantra. In this context (the one I am most familiar with) she is very similar to Maha Vidya Dhumavati. Her puja primarily is done as either Swapna Varahi, Dhumra Varahi, Vajra Varahi or Vartali. I know there are other murtis, it is just that I dont have the authority of discuss them. Once you commence her worship and you start getting bad or strange dreams, you should be cautioned to consult your guru. I am assuming you arent disrespectful enough to parampara to actually do worship of Devi with tantric vidyas and not get diksha. Her puja is tremendously powerful as it starts to give you effects in 5 nights. My guru had told me that makara/bali puja is very important as she is a Bali devata. This belief has carried out through to the Tibetains as well who also seem to favour her worship. If you are given diksha in Shri vidya and are just doing worship be reciting her mula vidya, know that it is not enough. You must worship your meru with proper protocol when it comes to varahi. It is best to also make a yantram of hers with gandharva gandha and worship that. You can get her murti and such from giri trading. However like I said, her japa is not sufficient. At least you must offer a homa on a fortnightly basis to her and also do frequent pranayama with her mantra. It is also important that you worship her with her raksha mantras and do nyasa to her vidya. Parashurama kalpa sutras strictly says that one has to be siddha in Laghu Shyama prior to worshipping Varahini. Send instant messages to your online friends http://au.messenger.
