Namaste

I was reading thru the archives and read something about bad dreams. I

find that when I have a bad dream, I can wake myself up by opening

my eyes wide in the dream, this causes my eys to open for real and I

wake. If this doesn't work I say "Jesus Christ", and immediately I

wake up. I tried saying "God" or similar things, but nothing works

except "Jesus Christ". I hope this helps. Be well.

I find that one way of releasing bad dreams is through the practice of more

meditation. As we clear the subconscious more and more there is less residue

to be released through REM. So much information is given on a day to day

basis that on a conscious level -is impossible to process, so it is stored

in the subconscious and one mode of thought suggests that dreams are a way

of clearing the subconscious. Meditation also clears the subconscious which

means less dreaming. However dreams can also be a response to fear, anxiety

and other issues on the mind. I find that dreaming can give a deeper insight

into these issues also especially if you focus on dreaming with intent -that

is hold a particular issue in mind and ask for guidance through your dreams.

Of course more Kundalini Yoga and meditation will help, after all it is the

yoga of awareness that can give you the deeper insights needed into the root

causes of such bad dreams.
