Guest guest
AdiyEn Dhasan. In these days of junk foods/soft drinks/pizzas/air conditioned living etc., where we are shamelessly aping western habits, how can we even think of debating on Sandhyavandhanam? Ranjan swami has hit the nail on its head.Congratulations Swamin. As a person who is forced to move out of Srirangam, and thrown into a world of "seeing is believing" adiyEn believe nothing is more relevant than doing nithya karmas like sandhyavandhanam and observing yEkadasi vrathams. What right/qualification do we have to even discuss what poorvaacharyas have to say on this subject? If yes, do we follow what our Poorvargal have said on all other issues? Even without viewing Sandhyavandhanm " as a required "anushtana", the benefit of Praanaayaama alone is manifold.Unless one starts to enjoy doing it, and take pride in that fact, we shall be only debating on it for debate's sake. Whats being told against doing this anushtana just reflects the "KuLir kaayum" mentality. Please dont be bad examples swamigaaL!! "Unnum sOru,Parugu neer, thinnum vetrilai yellaam kannan " aagina pinbu, we may think of debating this. Where are we now? Kindly reflect. Please do sandhyavandhanam.Dont abstain.
