Wow! What a movie:-( Non astrological again - chagrin chagrin!

I know we should all be talking and discussing seriously all the time

about horoscopes and all this pain that the blue planet is carrying over

and within it (geothermal energy that cannot be tapped -- they say -- in

a value-efficient manner! Yet we have under-water volcanoes in Hawaii

and all these Tsunamis, despite having the magnum opus on the

predictable NATURE -- Vrihat-Samhita (Bhatt's is the best!)

 

A few years ago I saw a movie named Munnabhai MBBS. It was good, light

and in some ways very close to reality -- as some of my doctor friends

told me!

 

I generally have been told that sequels are predictably BAD! But I went

ahead and paid some good money (150 rupees or thereabout) for viewing

the sequel: "Lagey raho munnabhai" this evening!

 

I know I know, NEWS arrives at this desk late!

 

It is a beautiful and very sensitive movie and story. Nothing was

perfect: neither the Bhai nor the Gandhi or other details that

persnickety movie critics go for! But it touched the spot that some of

us have -- even those born way after the emotional-Gandhi era!

 

And it has also something about astrology, our astrology and something

so recently discussed on this forum -- mangal dosha, which some very

cruel astro-critics say unkindly has been generally mangled by

contemporary jyotishis!

 

NO comments!

 

Take in the movie -- and get beyond the language barrier!

 

I do not have Sanjay Dutt's data (who is in some trouble recently from

what I hear/see) but I have always believed that significant

actors/entertainment personalities are the ones who really get an

opportunity to live their Jaimini Pada/Arudha chart! The rest of us just

get moments to experience that other side of us, Gandhis amongst us and

similar real-life performers excepted!

 

If I am 'Lucky Singh' I will only receive your flowers and blessings and

not what you offered me earlier this year! ;-)
