Guest guest
Hi Raji: I think you will find that opinions differ widely on who should possess and/or use a Sri Meru. Some say only Srividya upasakas, yes; but I would simply follow the teaching of Sri Amrita at Devipuram and say that having a Meru would benefit anyone. Like anything else, it operates on all different levels, depending on the sadhaka's level of understanding and experience. I recently assisted Guruji in preparing a booklet about Merus. I could post it here if anyone would be interested. *** My question is having a meru and chanting only Lalitha sahasranama would be sufficient. I am asking from my point of view. *** >From my point of view, it would be nice. "Sufficient"? I dunno, it depends on what you want to it be sufficient for. ;-) Don't forget to practice Sri Khadgamala Strotram as well as Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Stortram! ;-) DB , "rajeshwari iyer" <rajii31 wrote: > > Dear DB, > > Thanks for the invitatoin to Maha Kumbabshishakam. Guest guest
Thanks, I would be interested to know more about Sri Meru. My great grandfather was a Sri Vidya upasaka. That tradition was not handed down to his heir. Sri Meru was part of his worship. If Ls is sufficient then I have no further question. raji. > > >Hi Raji: > >I think you will find that opinions differ widely on who should >possess and/or use a Sri Meru.
