Guest guest
Why Must I attend Divya Darshanam? In the first verse of Andal's Thiruppavai is present this beautiful line: 'Neerada Podhuveer Podhumino Nerizhaiyeer'. Andal invites the Gopikas of Ayarpadi to go and bathe in the river, and assures them that Narayana will answer their fervent prayers and desire for Raasa-Krida. For the Gopikas who cannot make out their left hand from their right, all they desire is to be with Lord Krishna and enjoy his company. Andal transported Herself to Ayarpadi and composed the Tiruppavai believing Herself to be a Gopika-stree. She also looks forward with fervent anticipation to the time when she can enjoy Lord Krishna's company. Why then does she invite the other girls to 'go' (Podhumino) in front of her and bathe, while she herself walks behind them? For Her, there is a happiness greater than the happiness of being with Lord Krishna. That happiness lies in seeing the Gopikas happy, for then it multiplies manifold the happiness of being with Lord Krishna. Andal invited the Gopikas to go in front of Her, while she followed behind. The Gopikas obliged only because it was their Kainkaryam to bring happiness to Andal. Nothing brings more happiness to the Lord than seeing his Bhaagavathas happy. If a person does anything to make His Bhaagavathas happy, the Lord is most pleased with him. The little Bhaagavathas here at Srimaan Trust are presenting to you: 'Divya Darshanam', for the sole purpose that it brings a smile to your face, and if possible, gets you thinking about the future of our Sampradayam. Should you not then experience this happiness, and in doing so, perform Kainkaryam to them, as well as please Lord Ranganathar? The occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi can be enjoyed more if you stop here at Divya Darshanam for a while, appreciate the efforts of these little kids, who're all waiting to put up a good show. They, like the Gopikas of Ayarpadi, are performing Kainkaryam so that you, the Bhagavatha, are benefited. And benefited you will be, for they will present to you in a succinct manner the various facets of our Sampradayam. Will not Lord Ranganathar's darshan be all the more beautiful when we experience him in the light of our Aazhwars' Arulicheyal? Come to Divya Darshanam, and see the Aazhwars introduce themselves. An effort is being made to present to you the glory of our Sampradayam. Is it not, then, beneficial to you to attend, so you can experience the glory of Lord Ranganathar as shown by our Purvacharyas of our Sampradayam? We the members of Kainkarya Shree at Srimaan Trust, appeal to you with folded hands, to grace us with your presence at Divya Darshanam.
