Guest guest
The minimum weight of gems is the key requirement. Gems which are usually available in the open markets contain many flaws which are to be avoided while using the gem for astrological purpose. A good quality Yellow Sapphire having appropriate color, lustor and transparency is likely to cost around 6000-7000 rupees per carat. So if you can afford, you can wear yellow sapphire weighing 7-8 carats. Some try to equalize the quality with the quantity and thus, prefer to wear heavy weigth gems in order to have more impact, which I do not believe in. The fine-ness of the gem should be given preference against its weight. It does not make much difference which metal is used, the main function of the metal is to keep the stone in touch with the body. Guest guest
-Dear RS. I truly agree with u that the gemstone ones wearing should touch the skin of the first finger. I am wearing a yellow sapphire about 3.5 carat on my first finger, I have these strange sensation on the skin of my first finger, like a biting effect. It last about 2 weeks and then started to fade off. My son too has this sensation when he wear a yellow sapphire. I think it is safe to wear the gemstone indicated by your ascendant lord. any coments regards. vincent -- In vedic astrology, "R S" <globalastrologers wrote: > > The minimum weight of gems is the key requirement. > Gems which are usually available in the open markets contain many flaws which are to be avoided while using the gem for astrological purpose.
