Dear Ramakanta Prabhu,

PAMHO. AGTSP!

I had written:

>So the very definition of the word diksa is to impart or explain

> transcendental knowledge

For which you chastise me:

”Please just repeat exactly the words of Srila Prabhupada. Do not try to

explain it in your own words.” (Ramakanta das)

Srila Prabhupada uses both the word ‘explain’ and the word ‘impart’ when

describing the way in which transcendental knowledge is relayed to a disciple

by the Guru. In English we often have more than one word which means the same

thing. For example, if you read B.g.4:34 you will see he uses the word ‘impart’

in the translation of the verse. If I ‘explain’ something to you then I am also

‘imparting’ information to you. Sometimes Srila Prabhupada uses different words

to describe exactly the same act, as with ‘impart’ and ‘explain’ in conjunction

with 'transcendental knowledge'; so I completely reject your chastisement.

You now say you agree with the following definition of diksa:

"Diksa" means "divya jnanam ksapayati", or in English, "explaining

transcendental knowledge". I agree with that. (Ramakanta das)

So the burden of proof is now on you to demonstrate that Srila Prabhupada can

no longer "explain transcendental knowledge" to disciples on this planet. And

don’t forget, if he cannot then that means none of Srila Prabhupada’s original

disciples have had a diksa guru for nearly 30 years. Also please note that it

was Srila Prabhupada who just explained to you what the word diksa means, I

merely quoted him.

I am happy to allow Srila Prabhupada to also explain all about siksa once we

have finished with your ‘physical presence’ challenge on the issue of diksa. I

do not care at all if you want to assume I do not know about this subject.

Anyone reading these posts will see for themselves who does not know what he is

talking about.

Best wishes

Ys

Yadu
