Guest guest
Dear members, I read with interest all the comments on the subject. This reminds me of n incident my father narrated to me that during shri c.rajaji's regime as cm there was this great anti hindi agitation where the party workers planned to rub all hindi sign boards and it was considered a great political event of that time and c.r did not give any specific orders to the police and the police were under suspense. Then came the order from c.r that after the political event is completed arrange people to redo the sign boards to its original and take no notice of the political event(except for law and order} and turned the event as a political fiasco. In this instance also the members of Brahmin community should every day garland and light a lamp in front of the statue to show that they have no disrespect for a fellow human being. Else there will be miscreants who will deface the statue a opportune time and blame it on the community to increase the sectarian gulf. The above is just a thought and is open for comments Rgds. Guest guest
It is very good suggestion. Not only 'BRAHMINS' , all Asthikas must unite and undertake this offering of Mala & Lamp before EVR!!! The earlier suggestion that we should just IGNORE the provocation by installing EVR's Statute in front of themple is also commendable.
