KUNDALINI YOGA - LIFE TRANSFORMING!Dear Joan,

"Ek" Ong Kar "AH"

Sata Nam "AH"

Siri Wha "AH"

He Guru

The root lock comes up on the Ek automatically

As the air comes out of the lungs, you lean forward slightly with a straight spine, chest coming forward, shoulders back, press your hands against the knees making the sound "AH" which should cause the diaphragm to lift up under the rib cage and the root lock come up as a result.

The "AH" sound is where I've placed it here above, not after sat.

After each "AH" sound the abdomen relaxes and breath returns (seeps in) for the next sound.

After 3 or 4 repetitions of the whole mantra, raise the octave slightly. Then raise it again after each new round of 2 or 3 more times. Then the final round of 3, bring it back to the original octave.

Sat Nam and Thank you, The question remains, though, what is the

number of times root lock is engaged on the AH sound? One version

shows 3, the other 4.

Ek Ong Kar-AH, Sat-AH, Na-MAH, Siri Wa-AH, Hay Guru

Ek Ong Kar AH, Sat-a, Na-MAH, Siri Wa-AH, Hay Guru

The AH after Sat is shown in one and not the other.

Hi joan

Try an hour (61 or 2 minutes) as your Sadhanna practice and you will

find your body will know what to do- It is instinctual about 15

minutes into it your body will begin to adjust to what is happening

to the words and breath

or may 33 minutes you will then understand intuitively- and you will

know

exactly what feels right

If you do it against the sound/breath you will feel it immediately
