sure there r quacks all over in every field, but alternate medicine need not fall into the Lab tests as life , life style physical, emotional sides too have a bearing on most ailments, diseases, mind is the root cause. alternate medicine treats the person, alopathy treats the symptoms max quite often causing some new disorder disease what appears proven can be unproven later if u c no of DRUGS which were considered safe, tested withdrawn a few decades later.

where as alternate medicine max can fail not cause any side effects.

Jaundice was incurable / Difficult to cure by allopathy, there are thousands of "Parallel Pathies" which have claimed that by their medicine / Technique jaundice was cured. Some results I heard were like miracles. But is any scientific research carried out about these remedies. Any placebo based double blind statistical analysis done ? I doubt.

But then still a very large percentage of mofusil population believes in these pathies which are not proven. Some of the roadside quacks actually put high potency steroids in the Capsules and patient get miraculous reliefs temporarily.

We will have to take care on forum like JR we do not recommend anything which is not proven.

Anil
