Guest guest
??? ??? ?????? Dear Paulo, Namaskar This was my reply to the persons post: -- Dear Sir, In comment to your post on the atomic clock i must inform you in the usage of time as far as astrologers are concerned. The time given in hospital or in birth records are far from flawless as far as the actual birthtime is concerned, hence, astrologers keep this in mind when they perform their readings. Infact most professional astrologers (that i know of) initiate the consultation by rectifying the chart based on given events. Reading from the shastras on this we find rectification techniques which allow for a birthtime error of only 24 seconds in time (1 vighatika). This, and the interpolation of many other rectification techniques available, do result in a very accurate birthtime for the native AFTER rectification. So the invention of the atomic clock does not change the methods of practice for astrologers, as infact the error does not lie with the watches available but the person who records the birthtime... in other words a human error. I hope this comment is helpful to you in your understanding of time and astrology.
