Guest guest
Namaste to All: At this time of year about 2006 years ago, according to the Christian tradition, there were three wise men who were looking for the birth of a King. These men were actually astrologers according to some versions of the Bible. However, the current tradition have now pictured them as Kings from the east bearing gifts to a new king who would be born. As depicted in the tradition, they were following an unusual appearance of a star which for them indicated a birth of an unusual personality. Somehow this star led them to the town of Bethlehem. According to some research circles, this new star was actually an eruption of a distant sun into a supernova. Although they did not know this scientific explanation at the time, the three astrologers used this new star to triangulate the location of the birth of a new king. Perhaps, they timed the location of the new star to be at midheaven, or directly above the town of Bethlehem. This means that the star would in the 10th house (in the constellation of Gemini) of the birth of a child at around midnight. Conversely, the Sun would be located in the 4th house in the constellation of Sagittarius and in the nakshatra of Moola. Thus, the ascendant of the new child would be Kanya or Virgo. Regards, John R. Guest guest
Well, Jesus wasn¹t born in December, but rather September I think. Anyway, the ³star² they were following was probably just a prasna or arrangement of planets, a chart they had pre-seen, and they said ³star² to the layman who asked. There probably never was really 3 guys on camels, but rather, later, the disciples and followers heard that he has an awesome chart, and probably some came forward and said they had seen the chart and knew somebody great was coming, so later, they reconstructed the story. The three wise men are probably three top planets in the trines, which gave Jesus ³gifts² alrighty. There probably never was the 3 kings on camels. He was probably born without much fanfare at all, quite frankly. I like that now even CNN is airing a story about Jesus, and it tells of how many gospels there were, and how varied they were in their tellings of ³the one truth² He was an extraordinary person, who¹s life became exploded into fantastic myth after his death, as is the usual way with such persons back in the old times in highly religious countries. That¹s why, heroes of ancient times have powers we never see. Guest guest
If Jesus was born in September, then all these rumours may be true that probably the Christ story is an adaptation of the Krishn story ( Krishn was born on Janamashtami Aug / Sept ) which a sage called Jesus, when he returned from Siddhashram in the Himalayas, re wrote with camels & sheep instead of cows, to better fit the prevalent concepts & lifestyles of his people in the middle eastern countries where he was preaching. His ability to cause miracles might also be true because Sidhasharm, as its name implies is supposedly an Ashram in an obscure part of the Himalayas, where enlightened beings congregate to hone up on their Siddhis etc. It appears to be an extremely exclusive club with membership by invitation only. I doubt if it has had many more than a hundred or so members over the centuries & some of these members are rumoured to live for hundreds & thousands of years. No one seems to know of its exact location or address & I`ve heard described that if one stumbles in there by chance ( ? ) then the terrain looks a lot like the way Terry Gilliam portrays the mythic center stage in his film " Brothers Grimm " I read at www.alchemylab.com that many of the famous alchemists & Maharishis of centuries past had also gained their Siddhis from such a place. Just that some of them have become more famous than others. Is it possible that at some point in the telling, the story of Christ ( Krishn ) & Jesus got merged into one ? Now Richard, you cant go Oh yeah ! & agree with this post. I say Merry Christmas everyone ( but I`m not sure what exactly this means ) Harii Om ! Guest guest
I saw a program on the History channel a couple of years ago with some compelling evidence that Jupiter was the Star of Bethlehem. This is the author's website with a brief synopsis... http://www.eclipse.net/~molnar/ Regards, Preston valist, Richard Edward Wurst <> wrote: > > > > Well, Jesus wasn¹t born in December, but rather September I think. > > Anyway, the ³star² they were following was probably just a prasna or > arrangement of planets, a chart they had pre-seen, and they said ³star² to > the layman who asked. > > There probably never was really 3 guys on camels, but rather, later, the > disciples and followers heard that he has an awesome chart, and probably > some came forward and said they had seen the chart and knew somebody great > was coming, so later, they reconstructed the story. > > The three wise men are probably three top planets in the trines, which gave > Jesus ³gifts² alrighty. > > There probably never was the 3 kings on camels. > > He was probably born without much fanfare at all, quite frankly. > > I like that now even CNN is airing a story about Jesus, and it tells of how > many gospels there were, and how varied they were in their tellings of ³the > one truth² > > He was an extraordinary person, who¹s life became exploded into fantastic > myth after his death, as is the usual way with such persons back in the old > times in highly religious countries. > > That¹s why, heroes of ancient times have powers we never see.
