Merry Christmas from the Mandir-why we love Jesus and all the Gods

Most of our brothers and sisters from India at the Mandir, as well as

my wife and I, were introduced to Jesus when young and formed a deep

love for Him. In India, many schools are run by Catholic groups who

teach Christmas carols and the traditional forms of worship of Jesus.

As one of our Indian sisters told me, "it was easy for us in India to

understand and love Jesus, he is another form of Vishnu, and Hindus

can relate to and accept another "son of God".

I realized in a "aha" moment that Maa brought us all together, Indians

who had Hindu parents who learned about Jesus in school, and western

devotes who were raised in the Christian tradition but have become

Hindus. She wanted us to become universal and open to all faiths and

creeds. To truly embody the Love of Christ and Mother Divine, to see

and experience the unity of all religions, so we could help others go

beyond their more traditional upbringing.

Shree Maa's Guru, Ramakrishna, taught all His devotees to love God in

all forms, and Maa and Swami truly embody that teaching. Now, as the

next generation, as sons and daughters of Divine parents, it is up to

us to spread the Gospel of acceptance and harmony of all Religions.

It is my prayer, as we ready to welcome in the New Year, that all

people of this Universe, experience the Universal Love of God and

accept each other as Divine Beings. Oh Tidings of Comfort and Joy,

Comfort and Joy, Oh tidings of Comfort and Joy.

Jai Maa Jai Swami
