senkadhir = red rays (of Sun) uchchi thilagam = A red flower called

uchchi thilagam

unarvudayor = Those who worship HER

madhikindra = respect

mAnikam = as a Gem

mAdulam podhu = pomogranate bud (vide supra =aruNAm - LSN dhyAnam and

sarvAruna -LSN 49)

malarkamalai = One who resides in Lotus flower (meaning Lakshmi)

thudhikindra = worshipped by (Lakshmi)

minkodi = streak of lightning (thadillatha samaruchyai - LSN 107)

menkadi = soft, scented

kumkuma thoyam = kumkuma paste

enna vidhikindra = appears like

meni = body

abirami endhan = abirami, my

vizhuthunaiye = companion (in life)

 

Abirami- who appears like red rays of rising Sun and the red

uchchithilagam flower, respected by HER worshippers as a Gem, like a

pomogranate bud, streak of lightning worshipped by Lakshmi, whose

(abirami's) body is like soft, scented kumkuma paste, is my companion.

 

LSN = Lalita Sahasra Nama
