Guest guest
Dear Friends: I have completed a draft of an article titled, "What is Meditation" on my blog. Recently, I have been experimenting with breaking long articles using subtitles to make them more readable. I have also added some pictures. No, it's not me in the lotus pose you see. My legs no longer go in that direction comfortably. As always, your comments on the substance and how to improve the presentation are most welcome. Please pass it on to anyone who has an interest in either learning meditation or learning about meditation or learning about how to prepare for mediation. Thank you. Namaste and Love to all Harsha
Guest guest
Hi Harsha, Enjoyed the article and agree that several subtitles make for easier reading. The pictures weren't you; are they family members? Thanks for the article. Guest guest
Dear Harsha, I read your blog. It is interesting. However, I feel that you should elaborate on how to 'just be' more than the preambles. Personally, I try to 'feel' the 'sense of existence or presence or aliveness'. Not the body's aliveness but mine. I know I exist. But, I rarely focus on that. During meditation, I try to do just that. I am sure, you have your own method. I was looking forward to reading about it. But, your blog did not go into that detail. Since you asked for comments, I thought I would give my feedback. Hope it is OK. sundar , Harsha wrote: > > Dear Friends: > > I have completed a draft of an article titled, "What is Meditation" on > my blog. > > > > Recently, I have been experimenting with breaking long articles using > subtitles to make them more readable. Guest guest
Dear Sundar-Ji: Thank you for that excellent and very instructive comment. It comes directly from Bhagavan Ramana's teaching. The method of self-inquiry is meant to make us aware of our own sense of existence so that we can stay with that. I agree with you that the article is not able to cover everything. I have written on what you have said in old posts. If I can find it, I will repost it again. Guest guest
Dear Richard-Ji, Glad you enjoyed the article. No, I am not in the pictures. They are not all family members. One of the pictures is of my mother. She looks a little older than the other two. Happy new year!
