Guest guest
Dear all, I had my Vedic thread-ceremony done in Feb-1985. I used to recite our Vedic Agni, Vayu, Savita, Gayatri, Saraswati, Brahma, Manyu, Pushpanjalika, Indra, Upendra, Vishnu, VasuRudraAditya, Yama, Mithra-Varuna and Bhagawat stotras and being inquisitive about them, I stumbled upon Persian-Zorostrian prayer books in 1988-89 (college days). I started thinking about IndoEuropean connectedness, compactness and dharma-completeness. Later in 1993 I completed a Diploma(Sanskrit) from Bombay University after my graduation. Currently I am an MA(Sanskrit) correspondence student and we have one examination paper on "Complementary mantras of Rigveda and Avesta". I found that the word "Hapta Hindava" (7 castes of Hindoos, also mentioned by Megasthenes) actually refers to a branch of Eastern-Persian-Eurasian Vedic-avestan Devahura-Yagnik people, claiming divine descent from Devasuragandharvas-Prajapatis-Rishimunis or blonde-sages & Manu-kings. By the time of Ramayana (around 15000 BC) the rest of Europe-Eurasia were referring to them as "Hindavas or Hindoos". The most striking example are the Kashmirian Atharvavedic Hindoos, who follow many rituals and customs common to Persians and Russians. The Hindavas often called upon GOD as "Bhagavan"-derived from Bhaga or "Narayana"-derived from Nara. Other words are Virat, Swarat, Vishwarup, Keshava, Masdaka, Magadha, Padmanabha and Damodara. (all probably derived from Avastanvedic or OldEuropean). With the arrival of internet in 1998, I have been wondering if the Vedic and Avestan ceremonies, and Temples, can be combined (in India atleast) thus rejuvenating both the religions. This could further be combined with existing OldEuropean rituals and temples, thus creating a common Aryadharma from NorthIndia to Skandanavia. Please give some suggestions or guidance. Sincerely, Venkat Vedavasti Eyre Phone: 91-22-26702615 PS: As Shankarcharya and other acharyas have reiterated over the ages, "All we need to do is translate or transliterate the various OldEuropean languages and classical literatures (500BC-1800AD) from the various languages into Sanskrit" ex. Avestan-to-Vedic and Vedic-to-Avestan; Latin-to-Vedicavestan-to-Latin and OldEuropean-to-VedicavestanLatin-to-OldEuropean etc. to achieve completeness (samana samparipurnatva). Later using the various OldEuropean languages and classical literatures (500BC-1800AD), all our broken temples and stupa-monastries could be easily rebuilt and kept under European control, safeguarding our dharma-bhavishya. In which work did Shri Shankaracharya say this? You want to keep the rebuilt broken temples and stupa-monastries under the controlship of which European country?
