Dear Bhaskar ji

I think you are right regarding the defined animals/vahanas for

chakras.I also agree with your views(nature /behaviour /cobra etc).

What i was mentioning, were the latent/subtle meanings associated

with Gods and vehicles(Icons). The person(Tantra shastra) just

mentioned, peackock with blossomed feather/wings, as Vahana of

Subrahmanya,symbolises Sahasrara chakra.

He gave clues for Mooladhara & Ganapati as well. The rest were my

thoughts.I will expand my thoughts.

Ketu is shikhi- Peacock is Shikhi.Peacock can conquer

Snakes.Subrahmanya is Shanmukha(6 chakras) and is having the Vel

representing shakthi.Vahana or vehicle takes us to some

destination.Time is serpent and using Peacock as vehicle he is

representing the path of Agni(Sushumna). His association with Mars is

well known(Kumara/Young etc).Similarly Kujavat ketu.I feel Rahu and

Ketu are the ones which cannot be percieved using our normal

apparatus.Thier effects can be felt.

So is TIME.Some say there is a fourth dimension called time.I would

disagree with this. The three dimensions that we see are for

space.Time is not an extra dimension of space - it is a

parallel.Time/Space go together.Mars is infact bordering/gaurding

the path of Kundalini - Aries/Scorpio.Peacock blossomed is identical

to a thousand petalled Sahasrara and colourful.

If i have erred ,pls correct me.

Please read the next 2-3 mails as well.

Thanks

Pradeep

Dear Bhaskar ji, Chandrashekar ji, Bharat ji and Ramapriya ji,

i would like to add that Iggutappa is Lord Subramani (Karthik/Muruga ) incarnate. The eagle is an enemy of serpents and not the peacock. Kukke Subramanya near Mangalore is an important temple for Naga Dosha.

Igguthappa is Lord of serpents as well as of rains, harvest, rice and prosperity.
